Dog Training That Doesn’t Suck.
Because we LOVE dogs and have an actual education in dog behavior & training.
Approach
I believe every dog is different and dog training shouldn't be approached with a "one size fits all" mentality. After struggling with my own dog, I decided to dedicate myself to help dog parents understand their dogs better to live in harmony. I believe in relationship building and mutual respect between dogs and their parents while setting clear boundaries and expectations.
Providing you with the knowledge to live with your dog happily.
I believe training your dog is important, but also equipping you with the knowledge and tools to deal with your dog on a day to day basis is even more important.

What People Are Saying
"Will was amazing! He was great with both of our dogs and gave us lots of tips and tricks to help us train our dogs. The best part is that he came to our home and immediately began training the pups who are both two years old. We were able to see first hand "best training practices." Then we had a chance to go for a walk and he guided both my husband and I on how to walk with our dogs and gave us suggestions along the way to correct unwanted behavior like pulling, moving from one side to the other in front of us (tripping problem for me), and taught us how to keep both dogs focused so they weren't distracted with noises, and other animals. Most importantly he taught us how to keep our 80 pound lab from jumping up on us when excited. This was our number one goal for the training session. We can't wait to have Will back to our house to continue help us train our dogs. I highly recommend Will to anyone in need of help with dog training. He is a top notch expert who clearly loves dogs (our vet recommended him). "

“I admit I picked Will based on his business name. How bad could he be? My instincts were correct -- we have been very happy with Will & our dog(s) love him. He is on time, responds quickly to emails, professional, and really knows his stuff. He's been great with our puppy, helping us potty train, which was going slower than we'd have liked, and teaching the puppy -- and us -- different commands & tricks. The puppy will be a much happier, better-behaved dog for Will's efforts & we highly recommend him."

“Will is the best. My family adopted a chihuahua who was shy and unsure of the world. She also had a fear of- men. Will was able to win over her little heart with his calm, kind, but also firm demeanor. He goes above and beyond for his pups and the families that love them, working to ensure the dogs needs fit into its new family dynamics. Will helped me understand how to help incorporate my kids into the training and worked with the entire family. My little rescue buddy has gained confidence and my kids and I have incorporated good training habits that has set us up for success for years to come. Will- I can't thank you enough!"

I use a positive reward based system to teach, combined with relationship building and boundary setting.

My method is ideal for dog parents who don’t just want a robot-dog who only listens because they are afraid or suppressed. I believe in relationship building and mutual respect between dogs and their parents while setting clear boundaries and expectations.

Behavioral modification is one of my main fields of expertise. My approach to any behavioral issue is holistic and often includes obedience, management, relationship/communication, as well as addressing the causes of the unwanted behaviors. I also take into consideration the dog's emotional state, which's the most important piece of the puzzle because learning can't take place unless the dog is in the right state of mind, and many trainers overlook that fact.

We live in a society where instant gratification has become the norm, however there are no magic fixes when it comes to animal behavior. Dog training requires practice, patience, and consistency. The more work you put into training your dog, the better results you get, and I'm here to guide and support you throughout your journey.

No, I use rewards to teach and strongly believe that teaching dogs under threat and punishment is neither fair nor appropriate. Sustained attention and reward is the most effective and powerful.

Sometimes dog parents wait until their dogs develop behavioral problems before they reach out for help. However, preventing those behaviors from developing is a lot easier than trying to undo unwanted behaviors that the dog has been practicing. For that reason I recommend working with me as soon as or even before the puppy comes home to put him/her on the track to success and teach you as a dog parent how to deal with your new pup so they can positively acclimate in their forever home.
